Marico was established at Groningen in 1970 as Coaster Owners, but have since become rapidly involved in other shipping activities such as Liner Agencies, Port Agencies, Shipbrokers, Chartering and last but not least Worldwide Forwarding.

In the end of the seventies Marico moved to an office which is situated on the banks of the river “Nieuwe Maas” in the centre of the old and new Rotterdam Port Area. In 1986 Marico established a office in Eemshaven, the most northern port in the Netherlands.

In the beginning of the nineties the company was restructured to a group of companies with Marico Holding B.V. as parent company. The Marico group is member of the Armada group.

Together with our offices in Rotterdam and Amsterdam we can arrange for services in respect of: Further our business is the transportation of different/special types of project/heavy cargoes, for which Marico undertaken sea as well land transport. The company is also specialized in Ro-Ro cargoes/transports for different principals as well IMO 1 cargoes.
